Why Do we worship our God?

Scripture says, “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and Him alone shalt thou serve.” (Matthew 4:10b)

Why should we worship our God?

Scripture says, “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth for the Father seeketh such as worship Him.  God is a Spirit; and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.”  (John 4:23, 24)

Why do we sing as we do?

Scripture says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Colossians 3:16)

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.”  (Ephesians 5:18, 19)

Why Do we receive tithes and offerings?

Scripture says, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith saith the Lord of Hosts if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out such a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”  (Malachi 3:10)

“Every man shall give as he is able according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which He hath given thee.”  (Deuteronomy 16:17)
